Attendance Matters – Every student, on time, every day

McAuley College expects students to be in attendance, on time, every day. We take the approach that attendance is everyone’s responsibility and work closely in partnership with parents, to instil this expectation in our students.
At McAuley College, we expect:
Every student has 90% or above attendance with zero unexplained absences
(This equates to no more than 5 days absence per term.)
Students are expected to arrive for the start of Pastoral Care by 8:​43am and remain at school until the end of the day at 2:55pm for each school day during the term. Attendance is monitored and parents are notified when a student is absent, or if there is a late arrival / early departure. 
Any planned absences during a school term requires parent to complete a Request for Student Absence Form located in the Parent Portal under Forms and Documents.​
