English Teacher - McAuley College BEAUDESERT​

​​McAuley College is seeking qualified, experienced teachers to take on the exciting role of foundation teachers, as the school enters its third year of operation and expands to include Years 7 to 9 in 2019. Specifically, the College is seeking teaching staff who have the capacity to teach English and Humanities. Teachers should have a capacity to integrate technology as a tool to enhance student learning and embed whole school literacy and numeracy expected and effective teaching strategies. Accreditation to teach Religion in a Catholic School is a distinct advantage. Establishing a new school is a privilege which requires teachers who are resilient, hardworking and flexible. We are looking for people who are creative, both in the creation, planning and delivery of a contemporary and innovative curriculum, but also in their capacity to problem solve in a school which is developing resources, policies and procedures. We are seeking teachers who will share the journey, be prepared to work collaboratively, and be excited about building our community. All applicants must have either interim or full registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) or be eligible for registration.

English Teacher

Instrumental Teacher (Strings) - McAuley College BEAUDESERT​

​​McAuley College is seeking an experienced and qualified Instrumental Teacher to establish our growing Strings Program. In 2019, our College will enter its third year of operation, expanding to Years 7 to 9. Music is already well established within our College with close to 30% of our enrolled students engaging in the Instrumental Program, which includes piano, guitar, voice and strings. The successful applicant will take on responsibility for both individual lessons for students, as well as teaching our Strings Ensemble. Please find attached a copy of our Memorandum of Understanding for Instrumental Teachers which should provide a good overview of the structure at McAuley College. The College has three individual instrumental rooms in which lessons are conducted, and the preference is for lessons to occur on a Tuesday or Wednesday.

Specifically, the College is seeking a teacher who has the capacity to teach Digital Technologies and Visual Arts. Additional areas of experience in teaching would be most welcome, and applicants should have a capacity to integrate technology as a tool to enhance student learning and embed whole school literacy and numeracy expected and effective teaching strategies.
