McAuley College is seeking an appropriately qualified professional for the role of Business Manager commencing at the start of Term Three, July 2021.McAuley College opened in 2017 and is master planned to grow to 800 students. As a new school, the successful applicant will be part of a dynamic and committed foundation staff. Establishing a new school is a privilege which requires staff who are resilient, hardworking and flexible.We are looking for a Business Manager who is attentive and creative to the detail of finances and other areas of responsibility that fall within this role, which in turn support the delivery of a contemporary and innovative curriculum. The successful applicant should have the capacity to problem solve in a school which is developing resources, policies and procedures. We are seeking someone who will share the journey, be prepared to work collaboratively, and be excited about building our community.The College has completed the first two stages of our building master plan. As a new school, we will build a new stage approximately every 3 years and the successful applicant will work directly with the principal to oversee all aspects of the building program.The Business Manager will be the Principal’s delegated Workplace Health and Safety Officer, and therefore appropriate qualifications are desirable, or will be required in the first few months of the successful applicant's appointment.McAuley College is a Catholic school community and therefore the applicant must be supportive of our Catholic values and ideals, and this should be reflected in the manner with which they carry out their duties.Successful applicants will be required to complete mandatory online training courses prior to commencing, as well as the College and Brisbane Catholic Education system induction programs.Please refer to the attached role description for further information on the role and responsibilities.
