Information Technology School Officer - Level 5 

McAuley College is seeking an appropriately qualified professional for the role of Information Technology School Officer (School Officer Level 5) commencing in January 2018. The position will initially be structured around two full days of work (approx. 14 hours) or as negotiated with the successful applicant, with the possibility of more hours as the College grows in future years.

The successful applicant will require tertiary qualifications at an Associate Diploma or Diploma level or equivalent qualification and experience that would be appropriate and necessary to confidently work across the typical duties and skills as outlined in the attached Position Description and Duty Statement.

McAuley College opened in 2017 and next year we will enrol approximately 100 students across Year 7 and Year 8. The College is master planned to grow to 800 students. The school offers a one to one laptop program and our classrooms are digitally connected with a wireless network, and digital projectors in each learning space.

The successful applicant will be part of a dynamic and committed foundation staff. Establishing a new school is a privilege which requires staff who are resilient, hardworking and flexible. We are looking for an IT Officer who will fulfil their duties and in turn provide support for the delivery of a contemporary and innovative curriculum. The successful applicant should have the capacity to problem solve in a school which is developing resources, policies and procedures. We are seeking someone who will share the journey, be prepared to work collaboratively, and be excited about building our community.

St Mary's Parish Administration Officer

The Beaudesert Parish invites applications for the part time position of Parish Administration Officer.

A person with excellent administrative and secretarial skills is required for up to 10 hours per week, Thursday & Friday and on occasion Mondays when required. Specific responsibilities include the day-to-day running of the parish office comprising reception, banking, word processing, routine correspondence, photocopying, financial management and database entry. Additional duties such as providing administrative support for the Parish Sacramental program will be required from time to time.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Experience in all aspects of office administration covering a broad range of duties and functions, particularly those that might apply in a small business environment;
  • Demonstrated ability in providing reception services and administrative support;
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills for providing excellent customer service;
  • Demonstrated capacity to work independently under limited supervision;
  • A willingness to work within the Mission and Vision of the Catholic Church.
