Blessed be the boots that carry us to action for Mercy's sake in our world.
McAuley College is a master-planned Years 7 to 12 co-educational College situated in Beaudesert, the heart of the Scenic Rim. As a Catholic community, we are thrilled to invite students and their parents to join our welcoming and inclusive community. The values that appear in our College badge are the foundation and priorities from which our College will grow - BELIEVE ∙ LEARN ∙ SERVE.
In 2017, we opened our doors to the local community offering a secondary education in the Mercy tradition. The College delivers a vision for learning that is contemporary and innovative, whilst also encouraging our students to be life-giving through an active social justice program and appreciation of their ecological footprint. Our students benefit from our Model of Pedagogy based around the shared principle that each student is entitled to learn from quality teaching.
McAuley College offers a unique caring and supportive environment. Our community focus and size, coupled with our Pastoral Care Program, provides greater opportunity to respond to the needs of each individual where positive relationships form the basis of all our interactions. The students are provided with the skills to be responsible decision makers through our Positive Behaviour for Learning framework and encouraged to accept the consequences of their actions.
McAuley College delivers a comprehensive curriculum that is reflective of the requirements of the Australian Curriculum. The curriculum incorporates a Religious Education Program delivered across the year levels, integral to the faith life of the community. An extensive co-curricular program enables the students to actively participate in service, cultural and sporting activities.
McAuley College is proud of its staff. They are well qualified and provide a wonderful mix of enthusiasm, energy and expertise to deliver a challenging and innovative curriculum in our technology rich learning environment.
I invite you to visit us, either on the website, to request a prospectus or join us for a Tour to experience the unique and special nature of our community.
