Service and Social Justice Groups
Gathering with students across Brisbane at Ignite High.jpgAt McAuley College your son or daughter is invited to participate in groups that support the Mercy traditions of Service, Justice and Hospitality.  They actively engage in activities that empower them to make a difference in the lives of others. This includes whole school events such as Project Compassion, Ignite High and our very generous Christmas Appeal.

Students Prepare Birthing Kits during Bojaxhiu House Celebration Day.jpgAs a member of a Pastoral Care house, your son or daughter will be involved in  organising celebration and service days that in the past few years have included preparing Birthing Kits in partnerships with the Zonta Club of Beaudesert Area, Bullying No Way days, Mater Mother's Care Cushions, One Million Stars against Domestic Violence and postcards for people in hospital, to name a few.

The College provides your son or daughter with the opportunity to engage in Pastoral Care conversations with the College Principal providing them with a voice in areas such as student concerns, ideas and opinions. They have as their focus the intention of creating a better school environment and a collective understanding that we are all responsible for improving our College and seeking change through our actions.
