Year 7 Transition Program
Our Year 7 Transition Program works to create a sense of agency for students through a gradual release of responsibilities model, ensuring that students are gradually transitioned through Years 7 and 8 into the mixed teacher model typical of secondary schools. With a dedicated Core Teacher for English and Humanities, and another for Mathematics and Science, we focus of reducing the number of teachers students interact with in the foundational Year 7 phase, while at the same time placing key emphasis on Literacy and Numeracy skills development.
